Air-O-Foil Roof Insulation

Air-o-foil is a semi rigid insulation batt, light in weight, but also resilient and flexible enough to suit all surface conditions. Air-o­foil has been developed to provide substantial reduction of heat build up beneath roofs. It consists of a fire retarded, low density, closed cell polyethylene foam.

When used in conjunction with Air-o-therm pipe and duct insulation, the products provide the complete insulation package.

Because Air-o-thene polyethylene foam has a closed cell structure it is virtually impervious to moisture absorption, and therefore is effective as a vapour barrier, eliminating the need for costly additional cladding. This is very important because an increase in water content will increase the (k value) by varying degrees depending on the composition and density of the insulating material. Therefore, careful consideration should be given when designing insulated roofs, walls pipe and duct work etc., Particularly in regions where high sustained relative humidity levels are present.

Air-o-foil is an insulation ball ideally suitable for vertical application into stud partitions. It can be cut and shaped to suit variety of geometric.
